You can get all that on a Maxus - just like yours you pay for options...

It’s a shame, I wanted to like it. It looked good on the outside, but, as soon as I pulled away from hire place and changed gear, I immediately knew it was no where near the standard of a transit. The steering feel isn’t good either, one other area I forgot to mention.

It’s a cheap van, and serves a purpose if you have staff, that’s for sure.

Lots of people seem to slag off ford vans for some reason but they are decent,reliable vans,it's not uncommon  to see some that are 15-20 years old still being driven every day

I have a transit jumbo - now  13 years old - lovely drive but had its share of issues  - rust has not got hold which is rare

It’s a solid driving experience but relay - boxer and maxus feel brighter and airer to drive

Rust is not an issue anymore because all ford vans are galvanised like most vehicles these days.👍

Thats because older ford vans are reliable if not rust buckets but the new ones (customs) are anything but.

Same goes for most vans tbf. The older simple diesel engines go on for hundreds of thousands, the newer vans having to comply to the latest emissions regs and pretty much all crap.
