Bad here too.

They have to hurry up and spend their budget before the financial year end in April, otherwise they won’t get it awarded as high next year.

Which results in the ridiculous situation of manic roadworks all over the place in Feb and March every year.

Surely someone can see this happening every year and put a stop to it somehow.

We have it bad down here but it’s for this latest  broadband stuff some roads have been completely closed even for residents for several weeks .

Thats the trend over here now - not just 2 or 3 different sets of work in the same road but a lot now close the road off completely
