PureFreedom 650L flat tank
« on: February 20, 2024, 01:20:40 pm »
Has anyone fitted one of these to a Citroen Dispatch/Peugeot Expert/Vauxhall Vivaro/Toyota Proace 2020 or later?

Did it fit OK? Was it possible to bolt through the chassis? Any issues?

I've asked PF, but it's like getting blood out of a stone.

Splash just stated he has on another thread - so should be good

Don’t they have a 1400 kg payload ? - so weight not an issue
Never argue with an idiot, they will only bring you down to their level, and beat you with experience

PF want to fit a tank that's quickest for them to fit. It's all about spreader plates under the floor. Once you start looking for chassis members to drill through, most fitters lose interest as the job becomes much more complex and time-consuming. I would imagine it's the same at a higher office/management level as well.

Yes we have a 2018 lwb proace it’s 1400 kg payload it has a Ionic’s 650 thermopure system in it and that’s bolted to the chassis a local Ionic’s approved installer fitted it no problem and cost around £200 Ionic’s wanted around £750 plus the vat , that’s a big system, the pure freedom one is a fair bit smaller so would think it will fit ok .

Nice set up. Do your boys fill up at their own home?
We look at them, they look through them.
