Starting a window cleaning business
« on: July 25, 2006, 06:13:14 pm »
I'm Mike, and am thinking of starting a window cleaning business in the Chester area, but am unsure of what I should charge for commercial and domestic premises.

Could anyone please help with some ideas for prices?

Cheers.

Hi Mike,

Firstly welcome to the forum. You will find endless streams of help and advice available to you, just ask away and the answers will follow, well I hope they will!

As for pricing, the best thing to do is ask around your friends, see what they pay to get a feel for the area. Take a photo of a house and post it on here to see what answers you get.

The best thing is to price according to your location and not what everyone tells you as pricing is VERY area dependant.

I would try to gain experience with domestic houses before venturing into the commercial sector. This is a totally different venture and not for the feint hearted.

Good luck and remember to ask away.

Best wishes,
