Carpal tunnel in both hands but I don't seem to be suffering with it at the moment.

Even playing drums for an hour most days doesn't seem to be affecting me.

Window cleaning, gym 3 times a weeks and drumming probably puts a fair bit of stress on my body but I also know how to relax and recover too.

Eating a mainly real food diet with minimal UPF has made a massive difference in my energy levels and my general health.

I have tweaked my back in years previous but no aggravating joint issues generally....

At 52 I know I will have to slow down a bit as I age but I still have my gym sessions where I absolutely smash my body to bits because it feels good just not every session.
Any particular good source of recipes Daz?

A breakfast that I have most work days is

2 eggs
Cup of oats
Tablespoon peanut butter
Banana
Cinnamon,nutmeg
Splash of water

I whizz it up in my blender(nutribullet)and cook it in coconut oil in a non stick pan(finish the top off under the grill)best pancake ever.

Keeps me going all morning, bags of energy and very nutritious.👍

I’d have health issues if I ate that for breakfast!

I have general aches and pains and a weak lower back but I usually set that off doing gym or decorating rather than  windows.

It sucks getting old thats for sure

Deadlifts will help....start off with dumbbells RDLs,sumo variations too.

Using a hexbar instead of a barbell too if you dont want to put  too much strain on your back.

The truth is your not old!it's your diet you need to fix.once you properly feed the body with real food you ll feel 20 years younger mate.👍

All my joints are f***ed and I’ve a brain tumour (it’s unlikely to kill me) which means I’m almost deaf in one ear and have a constant RINGING.

Mental health issues are worse than any physical ailment anyway in this job. Nothing like a lonely days window cleaning in dark crappy weather to make you want to top yourself

He’s fine, it’s his sarcasm, you should be used to it by now.

He does hate the job, but he’s not suicidal!

I thought he was probably joking but you never know how someone is really feeling till it's too late.
