I take it you would then need to have a certain amount of pole hose on your reel so when you extend the pole it’s the pole hose going inside the pole and not the minibore/micro bore?

So I’ve watched the video on how to fit the tubeless kit, seems straightforward enough but what are the spacers for? If you use a Univalve do you fit the spacers evenly on either side of the Univalve? so half of them towards the gooseneck and half of them towards the base of the pole?
So I would need to have a rectus 21 female on the hose reel in any case to join to the 30m or so pole hose. How does reeling in go when the rectus fitting is protected with a protecta ball or similar?
why not just use a step down hose tail ?clamped with either o tip or a jubilee - no need to have another disconnection point
