« on: September 27, 2023, 07:41:43 am »
First named storm of the season approaching!I've been in shorts for months now but I'll be wearing my light hiking trousers and decathlon boots today....

I hate getting wet feet at work!😄

Have a great day chaps!👍

I never get wet when a storm is forecast. I normally wear shorts and my slippers.

Storm season - what a joke - puff of wind and some rain drops

No wonder the younger generations are so pathetic

Never argue with an idiot, they will only bring you down to their level, and beat you with experience

Yeah that’s fair enough, I find shorter days are easier on the body and mind though…

I find long days can caused more shoulder and neck fatigue for the next day.

Be interesting to see how you get on.

I agree they predicted 60-80 mph winds and torrential rain had 2 light showers and only a light wind 😂😂😂😂here

I find when I finish at 1 or 2 by the time I get home and sort van out etc then I can never be bothered to start something else so it was kind of finish early for the sake of it.

With an extra day off I can actually do something like d.i.y or hobbies etc.

I'm usually done and dusted by 3-4pm.that includes filling van and printing slips/invoices out.

Plenty of time for a gym session in the evening or whatever.

I have kids though and r lass works nights....so there's the school run, making dinners, bathing , homework, getting them to bed etc dont really have time to do much after 3pm

Not only that but im an early morning person, Started decorating at half 7 this morning i'll probably knock off about 1. Don't have much motivation in the afternoons.

She does all the painting and decorating,I do the garden at weekends occasionally but it's just a tidy up and leaf blowing as she has artificial grass....

I will do more cooking and taking the dog out when I move in though....😄
