Leaving the game
« on: September 01, 2023, 03:46:37 pm »
Hi all, some may remember me in a previous incarnation as PINGU way back when I started wfp here in The Netherlands (2005) with a Andrew McCann Freedom trolley, fibreglass poles, Vikan truck brushes and garden hoses....Thank the gods for Alex Gardiner and his/their awesome products and innovations and of course the awesome Aworka software.

Window cleaning has been good to me and mine but have been offered a price for the business and now managed to get a job with an American company here in .NL with the normal perks of working a 9-5 (and home work).

Of course I will miss the freedom but here we start paying VAT@21% from the get go and being self employed here is getting harder and harder with the many other taxes and insurances you have to pay and the truth be known I am physically not upto it anymore.

Thanks to all those who helped me along the way with advice, tips and tricks, this forum really is a source of gold if you are willing to persist and dig for those nuggets.

A big thanks to all the Mods over the years that have tried to keep a sense normality and decency which at times has been a bit of a circus ;D.

So to all those I have known here best of luck to you all and for those starting best wishes and success.

Cheers Dave - Out.
