Pole hose

Hi all what’s the best pole hose using Gardiners’s and twisting like mad tryed some exceed red and just as bad thanks andy

Having said that im sure its the way im using the hose, i get the feeling im creating the twisting myself

I don’t think it’s the pole hose I think it’s your technique. We use Gardiner’s green pu and yellow on all 12 hose reels and never get any problems I think you are constantly turning the pole around putting the twist is in it we use a hose less set up and this prevents the pole hose twisting as the fitting swivels .

Gardiner green PU for us aswel if I notice that the pole hose has a couple of coils in it I just spin the pole the opposite way when walking back to the hose reel.
I try to always keep the hose and pole hose as untwisted as possible as I believe once you start just reeling the hose onto the reel any twists or coils are going to be there for good.

The green unger pole hose is good, as well as the x-line orange one. The gardiners yellow braided all season pole hose swells up the size of 6mm micro bore!

I use orange PU pole hose.i bought 100m of it years ago.seems OK with hot water.i occasionally get the odd pinhole leak usually caused by thorns so just replace.
I think i bought it from exceed

I use Gardiners reinforced pole hose. Slightly heavier than standard pole hose but it doesn't coil anywhere near as much.
