I bought 100m of minibore off them and it arrived today. To be honest I think it's going to be 💩. It says it's kink free but the reinforcement isn't anywhere near as thick as PF. I've got a feeling I will be digging the old one back out of the dustbin tomorrow evening.

It’s rubbish less than 3 months and we found it had worn down and the inner was showing ,,also with hot water the hundred meters shrunk by 8 meters in 3 months    daqua hose is the  best we get around 3-4 years out of it using normal microbore  with very hot water , it’s hard wearing ,doesn’t kink and is good at not abrading.

Never had an issue with it and have 12 reels of it on the go - all are 5 years + in age and yet to reverse them - replaced a couple that were 7+ years old - don't use hot though

I've always bought it and had no issues.

But I did have a lad working with me not long ago that said it kinked way more than others hoses he uses. I never really thought about it seems fine to me.

Is it the 8mill internal one you use splash?

I used pure freedom 6 mill previously, which was a great hose, but I re-ordered and it’s now a window cleaning warehouse hose which seems smaller than 6mill. The flow is noticeably more restricted than the pure freedom hose.

I’m thinking of trying the Daqua minibore. (8 mill)

No we had the 6 mm .
Thought you had a  wabasto9 kw boiler set up ? They don’t recommend 8 mm hose with it , when mine was fitted they said only use 6 mm
We use daqua 6mm normal microbore on all our systems and free standing reels

No we had the 6 mm .
Thought you had a  wabasto9 kw boiler set up ? They don’t recommend 8 mm hose with it , when mine was fitted they said only use 6 mm

I think you’re right. I forgot about that. Yeah I have the webasto.

I genuinely think now that the 6mill hose I’ve got from pure freedom (now WCW) has just lowered the quality.

It’s definitely giving me less flow.

Mayb I just need the Daqua 6mill.

I presume grippa don’t recommend the 8 mill because it lowers the heat output? More flow, so less time in the heat exchanger.

We have  two fixed reels in each van and 2 free standing all with daqua 6 mm internal bore size and never have any issues with flow rate , calibrate it when the water is cold this will increase the flow rate when it’s hot . We have 100 meters of the 6mm with 25 meters of pole hose on and it works very well .
Not sure why they say don’t use 8 mm but don’t think it would make much difference to the heat output as boats use Wabasto boilers with 1/2 hose to taps and central heating  and that’s just as hot as what comes through the 6 mm hose .

Thanks splash. That’s confirmed it’s the new hose that’s my issue. Weird. All previous 6mill hoses have been fine.

This pure freedom one does look like spaghetti compared the previous one I purchased a few years ago.

I use the 8mm minibore and find it great, its got a slightly thinner o.d than others which i like.
