Since about 2018, I have noticed that the  2.5 metre single pointer Ladders we buy from Globe Ladders have changed.
The ones they used to supply had thinner stiles and were much lighter and more easily stowed up the side of the tank.
The one we buy now have got the same stiles as the much bigger ladders.
I guesstimate they weigh about 2kg more and they take up a lot more space.
Does anyone know a supplier of the lightweight  ‘old school’ single pointers?
Or like high quality Irish Linen scrim, are these light single pointers a thing of the past?

You might find the reg's have changed - the lighter ones may no longer be suitable for "Trade"

As Darran says, the ladder regulations changed a few years back.

I've always used this company for ladders, steps, stand offs, rojaks etc.
