The old transit connects had wet belts and they were a problem then, a lot of people had them converted to chains as they were so unreliable and expensive to change. Cant believe they still use the same technology.

Turns out they are going to replace the engine for free. So that’s a relief.
Only thing is they have no courtesy vehicles so I’m going to have to hire something for the couple of weeks they estimate the work to take.
So a bit of a pain but could have been a lot worse!
