Disposables. They do get a bit sweaty in the summer though. I don’t tend to bother in the summer.

Extremities unisex sticky power liner walking gloves.

They are NOT waterproof (they are only liner gloves), and not intended to keep your hands dry. They are simply lightweight, comfortable, cool and super breathable gloves to protect your hands from the carbon and hose dirt etc. However, if they do get wet, they dry quite quickly as they’re so breathable.

I got some last spring, and have been wearing them whenever it’s too hot for my sealskinz, so most of spring, summer and Autumn 2022. I just got them back out again, and there’s probably only about a months wear left in them before they start looking too shabby, so I’ve ordered another pair. I’m happy with a pair of good gloves only lasting a year.

Bonus feature: they have a conductive pad on the index finger so you can still use your phone while wearing them.

The orange tiger nitrile gloves that mechanics use is what I wear all year round.one pair can last 3 or 4 days...

Obviously I don't  wear them on hot sunny days or I'll end up with white hands!😄

I just buy the cheap £1 ones from screwifx or wickes etc, sling them in the wash from time to time and throw them when they rip.

lightweight, enough to keep dog turd at bay

10 pairs would last a few months

if you want to be even cheaper you`ll find similar for about 50p a pair

I remember when electric hose reels first came out and there were quite a few people saying “I’m a man, I don’t need a pansy hose reel to do the muscle work for me… “

Those same people are now saying “oh woe is me! I have repetitive strain injury and tennis elbow and carpal tunnel syndrome and I can’t work. My wife has left me, the bank are repossessing my house and my cat has ran away.”

Anything you can do to protect your body is 100% worth it in my opinion. In my case, I find I’m prone to dermatitis and sometimes eczema on my hands if I don’t wear gloves.

And even if you don’t get that, it’s very very difficult to get rid of the black dust from your hands, even scrubbing with a nail brush takes a long time. I refuse to be one of those men who has permanently dirty looking hands.

Palm gloves from Screwfix or Toolstation. I couldn’t bear sweaty hands wearing nitrile gloves in the summer months

As Carly Simon would say, you’re so vain.
So you prefer dog poop, cats pee, garden muck on your hands.
I thought with all the 5 star holidays you go on, your hands would soon get an even tan?

In the summer I just use the easy grip gloves from pound stretcher.
Got a good few pairs when they had 50% off sale.
Good grip and just bung them in the washer now and then  ;D

If you have sensitive hands, makes sense, mine don’t get dry or sore, never been an issue for me.

Don’t take offence, I was having a bit of banter, although some if you really are wet lettuce material.  :D

I have liquid soap in my van and wash my hands before lunch if not wearing gloves and after my last job of the day!🙂

Trust me I've worn nitrile gloves for days on end in sunny weather and white hands is not a good look!🙂

I am vain,granted but aren't we all?

Don't you have a wife/partner who prefers soft skinned fingers? Summer Gloving is the way to a more frequent love life! ;D

The amount of DIY, and gym work over the years means girly soft hands just aren’t gonna happen!
