That was what I was getting at - they are all made on the same line - so anyone who thinks that the Toyota is superior is kidding themselves

Darran

possibly - but then I see far fewer Toyota's than the equivalent Citroen and Peugeot  - but hey you have done all the research, and  as always  you must be 100% correct - regardless of what others have experienced or know

Darran

The Toyota is definitely more reliable than the Peugeot  I know several that have the dispatch and have had multiple issues that we haven’t had  , the only problem we have had is with the radio/ sat nav and phone link which has now been replaced and works fine . Just Google the problems that they all suffer with Toyota comes out top for reliability.

Not at all Darran, I was in the motor trade for 16 years and still have a lot of contacts that are , going on what many say and my own experience is what I have said .
The vast majority of roof  tile manufacturer s state do t pressure wash them , but you do it and don’t get any problems some do it and cause damage and leaks so there is often more than one answer to an issue

What a load of old gibberish - this thread is about Vans - Not pressure washing roofs - stop deflecting - 16 years in the motor trade?  when was that ? 20 years ago ? - is that the same as your expert opinion regarding water tanks in vans being a modification that clearly isn't - yet you cant admit to getting it wrong ?

Darran
Never argue with an idiot, they will only bring you down to their level, and beat you with experience

Funny thing is I had a Mechanic  come to the house replace the condenser pipe and re gas the air con,he was telling me the Custom has been voted the worst most unreliable van on the market.
Thought you would be along soon😂😂

Nigel knows at least 20 mechanics. Well, actually he knows the manager.  :P
We look at them, they look through them.

We all know you have an Audi Nigel, it’s nothing to shout from the rooftops about!
Difference being that Audi, VW and Skoda are all different, they have their own production lines. Whereas the vans mentioned are one and the same, they are all built in the same factory.

Ime a fully qualified sprayer and panel beater apprentaship  served from school but after 16 years saw the light and became my own boss , quite happy to email you my certification if you don’t believe it . You just don’t get it do you I was using roofs as an example, as for strapping in tanks I think you will find I did say it’s not a modification but still needs declawing , I thought it was a modification I accept it’s not but you still have  so say it’s strapped in mist don’t admit to it,

Not to argue with you splash - panel beater/sprayer isn’t really a qualification on modern factory assembly lines - for decades the main makers have been working together on new models with only badge changes and trim the only difference - these last time I drove a van didn’t have affect reliability.

What I will say is this - no matter the thread/subject you constantly portray yourself as the font of all knowledge - insurance - vans - webasto heaters - and your in the habit of Willy waving on everything perhaps occasionally show a little humility 👍

Different to who? How would you know who does and doesn’t have tick on a motor? You’re making assumptions again.
What I will say is you should get top dollar for your car when you come to sell it, no need to trade it in or sell to WBAC or Motorway, you will sell it private no problem, hairdressers are queuing up for such cars😁
