Auto net insurance ?
« on: April 21, 2023, 05:55:21 pm »
Anybody with them  ?
Just spent an hour on the phone only to be told that nobody on the panel will insure a van with a water tank .
Yet countless others I just read on another thread are with them and do get insurance .
I asked for an escalation of the call and nobody was available , I’m then told there is no complaints department , WTF !
If you are with them can anyone tell me the name of their policy underwriter please , I’m feckin fuming here !!!
I'm so lazy I'm getting tired of it !

If that's what they are like when trying to give them money, what the heck will their customer service be like when asking for money?

Red flags already?  Avoid then.

You just want to start the strapped/modification debate

If they won’t insure vans with a tank go to another broker

Just go online, declare your occupation and answer every question they ask truthfully and you'll save hundreds.... if you haven't 'modified' your van!😎👍

I’ve found that going between flux direct, a plan and brentacre I was able to get the price down to around £45 for my for ranger with a strapped tank declared as well as about 6/7 other modifications to the truck it’s self. It’s better to go to specialist brokers who deal with modifications

Just got cover with A plan  , fully comp , breakdown , legal expenses , tank declared , and reach and wash courtesy van for up to 21 days all for £480 .
So £100 cheaper than current insurance with the bonus of WFP hire van  , I can stop ranting now !

I managed to get £57 off my renewal by just telling them I thought it was too expensive.
Worked out at just over £200 per vehicle.
