I'm just interested in if it's achievable for some window cleaners?

When I first joined the forum back in 2009 I thought windows cleaners were lying about earning £30 an hour! ;D

I was lucky if I made £15-£20 an hour back then!

I now know they were telling the truth and it was my pricing and work schedule that was sub optimal....

£100 an hour is only possible if you have hot water, electric hose reel, light poles and take 5star holidays every now and then to rest  your body  ;D ;D

I think you would be surprised how cheap some are doing commercial work for here down south.
It’s not all bad but it’s hard to get the good work.

Looked at some apartments for the over 55’s in January they were being cleaned for under £3 a unit by a London company.

there is no set Ph   pay.
All areas are different
You have to be lucky to canvass in these lucrative areas and supply a good service.   Ive sold work  to a lad and he is just working to get a wage coming in .  He will start around 11am   till around 3.  He will do one to my 2-3 houses .  He is  at that age where he just needs enough work. He said its  Hard to get customers now if out canvassing unless you hit the Jackpot where there old window cleaner has not been for a few months.
Some people want more than others .  good luck if you are willing to put the graft in .

Yes we are all different- one man’s fast is another man’s snail pace and that’s before you factor in prices charged - if your consistently doing £90 p/h day in day out - well done it’s not for me to throw doubt on your earnings
It I do like salt with my chips 😋

I think most people can line up a good section of domestic work and get a very good rate for a bit here and a bit there.

To do 6 X £15.00 houses an hour every hour is less doable especially when I add in pleasantries, payment slips, moving the van, stopping for a coffee etc. etc.

Having said that I believe £60 an hour over say six hours (excluding a break or two) is readily achievable.

But look at your turnover for the year for your true earnings. And that's before costs.
It's a game of three halves!
