Belay glasses. How do you see where you are walking when moving from one upstairs window to the next?

Don't know much about them to be honest mate but i was talking to a cleaner recently that suffers neck issues and he said they were fantastic' i myself have ankylosing spondilitis so these would be great for me but i'm as blind as a bat without my prescription specs.

cheers mate' do you use them ?.

I use them when I am close to a building down the side of a house and doing an upper floor or doing three or four storey work. They clip on my glasses (reactions prescription) and I can see to the side of them when they are flipped down but they can be flipped up out of the way too.

I got them due to neckache and tinnitus but to be honest it just let's me vary my neck position. They help reduce neck ache  but don't cure anything.

For context I'm 63 and have had then about three or four years now. They come in a hard pouch and I clip them to my belt.

How do you see the ground when walking forward to the next window to clean? Genuine question.

The clip ups sit on your glasses towards the upper inner portion of the lense nearest your nose on each side. You can see 'around' them and below them for window to window work.

If you need to walk any distance you can flip them up and then down again.

Once I've done any tops that I use them for (for me only ones that I know will strain my neck bacause I can't stand back) I usually take them off.

Be aware that if you wear a baseball cap low then they may give you a view of the peak or you hit it when flipping them up.
