Guy round here uses gas for hot water.....never had a problem....had it fitted professionally though.

What is cost of running gas system? How long would 11kg drum last?

i use a 13 get 2 weeks if ive set it very hot but if set at 60c ish can get 3 weeks out of it cost is £49 i remember when they were £18

I had one fitted professionally a few years back,took it out as I didn't feel comfortable with it.
Got a diesel one now.

Spoke to a guy oven cleaning the other day , he said he had been using gas in his van for 25 years .
and had never heard of anyone having a problem .
