If you sell a product and you either give it a warranty or say you will rectify any faults you should honour it not just take peoples money and run,you also shouldn’t expect people to travel 3-4 hours to them to put it right that’s what you pay a call out charge for.
Like the majority of things once you’ve paid see you later,if only people realised this is what separates you from the run of the mill dross good customer service it should be a pleasure to fix any problems someone may have.

If you've got a problem with Grippa, which I can only assume you have, even though your sentences are about as coherent as a pi$$ed grasshopper, start a new thread, don't talk your usual bollocks on what was an easily understandable series of responses from others.

One assumes it’s a warranty issue ? So shouldn’t cost him anything , I had similar issues and it cost me several thousands of pounds in loss of earnings and staffs wages never did get any compensation

Depends on what's in the "Warranty" - technically it works - so far its your word that its slower than it should be - unless you have a tech spec stating a speed then yes if you want the issue resolved then travel to them

I'm not saying its not faulty and it sounds rubbish  - but you were there when it was fitted and I assume tested it - your alternative is to issue a small claim to see if you can force a resolution

I didn’t say it’s faulty in the first place Darren or at least I think I didn’t without trawling through,it’s so slow to reel out and in anyone wouldn’t thinks it’s faulty m8 even though it might not be.
Fantastic customer service though haven’t heard a single thing for 2 weeks.

Nigel had a 7 day grace period according to Grippa'a terms and conditions and his statutory rights, in which he could have returned the reel for a full refund. He chose not to exercise this so now has to prove the reel is faulty.

Like Smudger said, surely he saw how it performed when it was originally fitted by Grippa and any concerns should have been raised and sorted then.

They were emailed within a couple of days of it being fitters I sent emails after email and videos, what you’ve said is nonsense they’ve not contacted me after me ringing them and
Speaking to Aisha.
What you’re saying is that if I can hide for 7 days without picking the phone as a supplier I’ve got away with any complaints then.

You are entitled to a full refund within 7 days even if the reel works perfectly, no questions asked. I tried pointing this out to you on your other thread but you did not seem able to grasp what I was saying.

Of course you can - its about what you want to do tho, isn't it

I don't know what one of these reels cost but I would have either driven up to grippa and handed it back or put it on a pallet and returned it - which ever is easier.

without trying to be rude - it sounds like it works but just does not reel in quick enough - something your posts indicated you already knew ...

again without trying to cause offence it s starting to appear you now want to return the item because you don't like it rather than there being a fault with it - please can you clear this issue up - thx

Hi Darren why do you want me to clear this issue up are you part of Grippa it comes across like you are in that last post,as you say it works but it’s motor is as weak as P**s it’s not man enough.
A manual reel is quicker than the Grippa reel but a manual reel is ridiculously slow compared to an HD reel.
