Streamline 9.1 kw heater does anyone no if you can adjust the temperature on both summer and winter settings?

There’s an adjuster both ends or there was like my 9kw from Grippa,minus equates to winter and + summer.

Do you have any idea on the lowest temp on streamline one heater gage my mate says his is 60 at heater but he has 5kw one he says no adjustment on his !😬

You can buy a needle valve that screws on the end of the heat exchanger that will enable him to be able to adjust the temperature,you’re get a more accurate temperature reading with a TDS meter with temperature feature on it.

The needle valve screws in one end of the plate exchanger across the top of it and in to the other end.

I know things can change, but Streamline used to use a mixer valve so you could regulate the temperature of the water leaving the diesel heater.

The only ones who use the electronic temperature control built in the Webasto 90 and 90S and the Pro90 were Ionics. They don't use a mixer valve for temperature control. I can't remember which colour wire Ionics use from the Webasto wiring harness to connect up to their winter and summer rocker switch. Webasto 9.1kw has 3 water temperature range settings. Leaving the wire unconnected (mine has been cut off) is the first setting, the second is earthing that wire and the third is adding a 12v positive supply.

There's absolutely no need.just leave it on full heat setting all year round.

Don't forget the hose lying on  the ground is going to  cool the water down in this weather.

Is it well sorry but that says it all then lol tight fitting single pane windows will crack as soon as the brush hits the window.

So are you gonna fanny around with the settings depending on the window?

Remember in winter on a very cold day with lots of hose off your reel the temperature at brush end will be warm not scalding hot anyway even on full heat setting....

In summer it will be very hot which helps with the clean

I just leave mine on full heat all year round.sometimes on the ridiculously hot days like we had last summer(30c+)I turn it off altogether

You obviously don’t work rurally then Daz if I was to just go full heat on every job this time of the year I would be paying a fair bit out in cracked glass.

I work rurally and have not had a problem with it on full heat.,as Daz said im not messing about trying to guess what setting to put it to, might as well turn it off altogether..

So are you saying rural glass is different to town glass ??  We do loads of both it is fine with maximum heat even on single glazing provided it’s not got any existing damage  we clean tens of thousands of pains each year and in 8 years have cracked 4 I think all had existing damage

I work in one area it can be 0-+1 drive 7-8 miles in another area in South Kent it can be -4,listed properties don’t have PVC windows lol although I’ve cracked a couple of those also.

We do lots for national trust ,English heritage , etc stained glass etc never had any issues using hot on them just go carefully it’s fine

If I pull up to the job and it has single pain glass in wood frame I’ll quickly turn heat right down takes a second before pulling out hose then turn up for next job it’s not often I need to do this but it’s nice to be able too
