You can only set it on low or high and tbh on mine low is very very hot I reckon the valves  are round the wrong way as low is hotter than max.

Leave it on full heat all year round.....when it's-3 outside lots of heat is lost through the hose esp if you have 100m off the reel so temperature at brush end will be a lot cooler than the warmer weather...just as well or you'll be cracking panes left,right and centre!

One reason for me changing over to fan jets was to spread the heat over a wider area. It probably won't make a difference when scrubbing the glass, but will spread the heat when rinsing as we rinse off the glass.

That’s not a good experiment I remember watching this at the time what he said was true though any small or hairline crack  and it’ll just go from corner to corner,a better way of doing it would be if they were tight in a frame or unit.
Those kind of temperatures they can easily crack but they’ll still go 6-7 degrees higher round certain parts of houses if there’s a cold wind.

It’s not Luke warm m8 even on minimum setting it’s still hot water with 9kw forget all this hose on the ground stuff cooling it down which it does do slightly,mine still comes out nice and hot all 100 out.
Use warm then hot you can see the difference in the depth and speed of the clean,with water over 60 odd degrees on 6-8 weekly stuff you’re just flashing over glass almost to clean it.

You will not get 60 degrees  at the brush with 100 meters of hose out in the winter I live in one of the mildest parts  of the country and don’t  get that , in the summer yes it will get to that and a fair bit more .

No you won’t the hose will  haemorrhage   heat on a cold day or frosty morning , we do a lot of commercial and  on site for  hours  re circulating the  water will increase tank temperature  but the hose will still loose heat quickly with  100 meters of hose out , Evan if the tank temperature is 80 degrees you won’t get more than half that at 100 meters  on a cold day cold or frosty ground and wind chill rapidly reduce  the heat

That's why you should just have your heater on full blast all year round...a hell of a lot of heat is lost through the hose in winter on a cold day with most of your hose off the reel but that's fine as you don't want piping hot water on cold glass on a freezing day
