Van leasing—ULEZ expansion
« on: November 29, 2022, 11:53:35 am »
Hello everyone.

Mayor Khan has is expanded the ulez zone in 29/8/23  to Greater London.

Dirty diesel must be 2016 plate ad blue euro 6 engine.

For those that lease where’s the best company to use?

I’m thinking about another fiat doblo or
Citroen Berlingo possibly a vw caddy.
I’m a sole trader, lone worker.

I’m on a 2014 fiat doblo 90 multi jet
75,000 miles. Paid 6k 2018 I own it which is the way I always liked doing things

I’m seeing vans up for sale dealers 2016 plates over 80,000 miles 10-11k
As ulez friendly

My water setup is at my parents who will be in ULEZ in august next year 🤦‍♂️
And quite a bit of my round is.

I will be in UlEZ Zone 3-4 days a week at £12.50 a day

With only £5k cash to put down and a trade in of 3k if lucky, even though my current van would be up for sale the next day outside ulez for 5k

I’m thinking 🤔 of leasing again,

Life’s not fair and the goal posts often move🤦‍♂️😀

Any ideas or tips on leasing appreciated👍

There is supposedly a grant for sole traders being released 30/1/23 by TFL

Call me a cynic but I don’t think 🤔 this will be up to much.

Save the planet 🌍

Thanks lee

Keep the van costs are just running and driving pay the ulez for three days  a week say £ 40  which is cheaper than leashing a new van by a country mile when your old van dies think again

Alternatively, charge the equivalent of about £2 per hour more within ULEZ once it starts?

Put your prices up slightly to cover the cost.much less money than buying a new van if yours has got plenty of years left in it yet...
price higher/work harder!

Yeh that’s one way of thinking 🤔

Price of new vans buying or lease ing has gone ⬆️ up.

My van is now 8 years old 75,000 miles on the clock ⏰

Wondering how much it has left in it 🤔
My Old Ford escort van was 17 years old

I had it for 12 years !

Don’t you lease Daz?
Thought you had a Ford connect?
