Winter is here
« on: November 16, 2022, 05:11:09 pm »
Had Tuesday off due to torrential rain and looks like tomorrow will be the same.

Looks like that time of year again and oddly there are still hosepipe bans in force

I worked 3 hours in constant rain yesterday morning then it dried up for the afternoons work..it very rarely rains all day...

I'm having tomorrow off..back in Friday as I've only got 4 days pencilled in this week... 8)

I've washed and reproofed 3 waterproof jackets this evening ready for the winter months. I'll do my boots too later.

Tomorrow looks like the worst day out of the next 2 days so I'll be off for a haircut in the morning, food shop, housework and gym in the afternoon.... :)

What do you use to re-waterproof your jackets boots etc Daz?

You use like a Nik-Wax product you’ll get it in Blacks or Millets you spray it on you’re waterproof jacket or clothing, they also do a sachet that you can put in the washing machine with an item to help bring it back to life.
The spray on stuff is much better for jackets and shoes.

You need to apply the cleaner first before the waterproofing.

I'm just about to launch in to a Dazmondo, so if you want to scroll past feel, but I had my best day ever today - and was finished by 2.30 to boot.

160 solar panels. Sometimes jobs just land in your lap and tick all the boxes.....

I'm glad its started slinging it down here I was a bit worried when I woke up that I had dropped a bollock as there was  no rain.

Been to bike shop measured myself for a new bike, home for a bacon butty and I might go to the gym in a bit. Who needs an employee eh living the solo life  ;D

Did a commercial job, popped to sports direct for some new trainers, had a browse round curry’s. Then had a Tuna sub with lettuce, red onion and peppers.

All by midday.

A decent rainy morning for me  ;D

Just finished a large apartment block, started at 7am and got soaked to the bone, truly miserable weather. Glad I got that done though, was very tempting to stay in bed when I heard the rain outside this morning.

Nice day here. A fresh breeze with sunny intervals. Finished for the day now.

I went to the gym, stood infront of the mirror and took some selfies. Went and got a hair cut after.

I've been working in and out the rain.
Role on the winter, that summer was well hot!
