I do trip our window cleaner he’s bloody rubbish   ;

I tip the bin men
The posty
Hairdresser
Waitering staff at restaurants

I will not tip shop assistants that waft a make shift “Christmas box” under your nose with Xmas staff tips across it in crayon
🖍️

Darran
Violence isn't the answer though.

I try and tip the postman and bin men and I agree about those tip boxes ???.

I don't understand this tipping the barber rubbish. The price is the price. Do we get a tip every time we clean a house? No. Only at Xmas. If you're lucky.

£195, 2 boxes of chocolates and 2 bottles of wine. Grateful for it but certainly don’t expect it.

Not as good as last year for me(£612)

Currently on £421 but it's better than nothing considering the pressure on people's finances..... :)

One of my customers died the other week. They left me a ‘Christmas Tip Legacy’ in their will.

It says, for however long I continue to clean windows her estate will grant me a Christmas tip to the value of 5K, rising at the rate of 19 times inflation each year.

 Beats last years.

Surprised you get so little tbh Daz. You have roughly 3x the domestic customers that I have yet you only get £100 more in tips. My average tip per customer ratio is far higher than yours. I don’t butter them up with begging letters Christmas cards either.  ;D

Thanks for keeping us abreast.
One of mine did the same but I said I need to make ends meet. She said get yours out and I'll see what I can do.

Some never tip
Some always tip
Some keep you talking rubbish every visit and then are nowhere to be seen December. They’re  generally also the houses that ‘tacky’ up  with obstacles  ;D
Merry Christmas
