Told you lot loads of times.
I picked up 30 new customers from Facebook groups this weekend.
This time I decided to experiment and offered a 4 or 8 weekly clean at the same price. Only 5 jobs went with 4 weekly the rest 8 weekly so definitely worth pricing the 8 weekly higher so its win win otherwise I'll need twice the volume of customers to reach my target.
Going to need to employ someone again soon. 10 first cleans tomorrow to do
One thing you will notice if you post on there a lot is the amount of customers asking if you are traditional as the pole is crap.
I've had about 10 tell me this week they don't want pole the last window cleaner made a mess....
Every weekend you seem to be able to pick up 20-50 new customers from FB yet you are still a one man band? How does that work?
It's certainly not every weekend as I don't post every weekend as i definitely wouldnt be able to cope
At the moment I'm overstocked with around 630 customers.
In the last few of years I've sold work about 4 or 5 times and I've also dumped quite a lot and put prices up which has also culled some.
And of course not all of them I pick up stay long term you get some time wasters in there. I liken it to slinging mud at a wall and see what sticks.
Ive just checked my cleaner planner account out of interest
I added 27 custs around the 25th oct
20 around the 5th oct
20 around 6th sept
11 on the 1st aug
18 on the 6th june
18 on the 22nd march
and my best hit was 58 on the 8th Jan
Ive actually got rid of over 100 customers this year, soem went due to price rises, some sold, some dumped, some moved out or died, some messers, some non payers, some i didnt fancy the job etc etc.
so thats how many times ive posted to groups this year and the results. You cant just post every week to the same places, theres a ceiling to this which is why i post infrequenly. 1 so i dont get banned for spam and 2 so people dont get bored of seeing my posts.
I also run paid ads occasionally and do ok with that, i started running an ad this week and picked up 3 for £20 which isnt bad but i soon stopped the ad when the free stuff came in.
