When univalve comes out in 10mm form instead of 8mm I may try one, but until then I'll stick with a tap

That wasn’t the question!!!
To answer yours - I ‘hump’ reel out of van, manual reel in, cold water, 8mm hose. 39 years in the game 17 using the reach and wash. Works absolute fine. Paid my house off and have a nice life. But of course in your opinion I’m doing it all wrong CHEERS 🍻

crack on mate!if thats how you want to work.i really dont care! :)

im off to the maldives next week so a nice 2 weeks off before the winter sets in! 8)

Says the chap renting and living with his girlfriend.  :D

Whilst I agree with Daz,  AuRavelling's point cracked me up lol ;D

It's always the guys using taps and other inferior wfp equipment that seem to have large chips on their shoulders or just seem bitter about life in general.... ;D

I use a tap and I'm not bitter. I got three of the old univalves in my shed and three new ones still in a wrapper, just don't like them and they are too small for 10mm pole hose without adding reducing pneumatic connections. Life is good, two years until I get my army pension mortgage free, debt free and also part time, best way to be. Saving up to get 5Kw solar set up with 6Kw battery bank for back up as plan on making life as debt free going into semi retirement so I can choose to work less as time goes by.

Will try to keep this short and sweet.
No chip I’m afraid. Reasonably happy with life in general to be fair.
As for inferior equipment well it all does the same thing ultimately. We go out and we make dirty windows clean and we get paid very handsomely for it. Some people work one way another will work another way. Whatever they feel works for them is fine Darren. It’s about personal choice. Maybe there are changes that I could make that would make life easier . But at the moment I’m fine thank you. Worked fine for very many years. I know this is something that you are not comfortable with. You have a need to impose your will. You want to be big and strong and in control. Always right. You say you don’t care so why did you post? I think it was you that started the whole thing.
Why you behave this way I don’t know as I don’t know you but something is going on. Maybe your past coming back to subconsciously haunt you?
If you started humping around a steel reel and dragging a 100 metre 8mm hose all day you could save on that gym membership.
Something to think about?
Enjoy the Maldives. Never been but it sounds very nice.
Send me a postcard!

I thought about going to the Maldives but it seems to be the place where all the council house types go these days so will give it a miss.

I only work part time but earn massive amounts of dosh.
I’ve had a tap on my head.

I see no difference from this “tap subject” to you and NWH noshing each other off over hot water..?

The irony being that NWH drives a 100 year old van and you live in a council house and you talk of people feeling inferior  ;D
Why don't you have a quick google before making stupid comments?

Thanks for your endorsement. I will do what I want. And I’m definitely not your mate!
Enough's enough now. Agree to disagree and all that! Have a good day
