Hi guy's,  were do you get your hose from ?
This is hose to go on a reel not pole hose. From what i can gather gardiner only sell pole hose. You can't just phone and ask a question anymore,  poor service, 😔.

Poor service? Just because you can’t ring them regarding something they don’t sell?? Gardiners are top notch when it comes to customer service.
The phone service giffgaff doesn’t have a phone number but that doesn’t mean they have poor customer service  ::)roll

You can phone or email them and they will call you back , but there is no point asking about something they no longer sell . Dough at daqua  sells quality hose I found the  cheap stuff that some sell didn’t last very well

My Wintecs hose is about 13 years old. If i reel it right out i can see their phone number printed on the side of it. Not sure what the quality is like now  ;D ;D

We still have some minibore on one of our now standby hose reels. We purchased 2 of them from Cleantec in Scotland before they folded. That was back in 2006. Tough as old boots but very stiff, even when the water was warmer in summer. But what a difference using that to the 1/2" garden hose Peter Fogwill supplied with his trailer system back then.

That hose will last a long time in everyday use. However, most window cleaners, like myself, now prefer more flexible hose as it's easier to manage. In my experience, the cost is that the more flexible hose isn't as durable.

I use reinforced pole hose for the first 33m on my reels - so light and easy to loop up, flick about and carry.

It's the red stuff from Soap National.

So from the brush it's pole hose to connector. Red reinforced for 33m then 66m of microbore.

The microbore lasts 'forever' and when the reinforced pole hose goes (which can be a few months or a year really) I just splice it with superglue and maybe a joiner a couple of times then just replace the 33m when it gets too patched up.
It's a game of three halves!
