Depends how you look at it, but labour/time-wise Id be thinking £250 - £300.

If you're factoring in a new pole over a number of visits you'll probably want to put £100 on that price.

Its not looking like a huge amount of time, you'd be out of there by dinner time but it doesn't look particularly easy, hard on the body etc...

Ide be in the £400 bracket for that as it’s high  any breezy days will make it hard work

My experience of stuff that high is problematic - you can get a pole up there - you can clean with a long pole and get good results - but unless its very sheltered you'll be lucky to do it on the days you want

even the lightest of gusts make it real hard work to keep control of the pole

I don't pole from the ground anything over 4 storeys now - and things like that I'd do from a cherry picker with a shorter everyday pole

Make job more expensive but overall safer - more reliable and quicker (IMO) - looking at £550 + vodka and Tonic

I wouldn’t want to be leaving the glass looking like some nice young lady had just run her nails through the dirt and then bounced on to the next pane, hot water gives you a bit more confidence a few scrubs up and down is shifting dirt.

Do you use hot water then, Nigel?

Time wise 2-3hours. Happily work in gusty wind up to 3 levels. 4th level 35mph, 5th level not above 30mph side wind using a lot of caution. Happy going up to 5 levels but not above that anymore.
Once did a 7 level and even though it was very calm on the sheltered sides and below 5 levels, once in the breezy side you can really notice the wind picking up above 4th level in built up towns or cities from the wind funnelling between the buildings.

We do a few of jobs at that height and higher some 6 storey stuff , it can be difficult at that height there might be no wind at ground level but up the top might be very windy . Or wind direction on the ground might be one way and the opposite up the top , it’s not a job for  the inexperienced, an extreame pole at that height will be a nightmare you need a Gardiner’s ultimate we have a couple of 74 foot versions they are very good in a breeze but are heavy . Price wise due to the height and using a 3:5 k poles I would want £650 or not interested, I know that’s a reasonable price for this type of work as know a few firms that do similar stuff ,also those ledges will hold water causing  track lines so each sill will need sweeping after it’s been cleaned , to do that properly will take longer than you think .

I use ultra high modulous telescopic poles combined with modular ultra high carbon sections poles for maximum rigidity for high work so I can take the sections off making the pole lighter as I come down the glass so it's not so tiring.
High carbon becomes whippy at height so if you can use ultra high carbon even better as it's much more rigid which makes it easier to clean as energy spent isn't wasted fighting the action of the pole technique.

I had an SL 2 modular pole years ago and found it a nightmare in the wind as it was so light , at least the heavier poles are better in the wind , but agree you di have ti get used to working with the bend or whip and make it work to your advantage.

Still got my SL2 50 and if it is calm with no breeze whatsoever, that thing only weighs just over 2kg and is a joy to use.
I won't use a Gardiner extreme  telescopic pole for 4st work unless it's really light winds.
Much prefer a heavier, higher carbon telescopic/modular pole for high work 25mph+
Always check the wind speed for the days of higher work. Have only had the hairs on the back of my neck stand up five times and abandoned the work for another day. Have to be sensible about high work and strong winds, not always possible to work on expected day so always handy to plan other work just in case.

That doesn’t look that high to me even though it may be 6 stories.

It may only be a mornings work but there would be zero chance of me starting another job in the afternoon, that will be a fairly hard graft. Price it as a day.

I do a 6 story apartment block, it’s no fun, any wind and it’s a right mare. I use an extreme 47 plus 2 modular sections, even that’s not good enough bends for fun.

I need an ultimate pole, but because I only clean it twice yearly, haven’t bothered.

I’d think carefully about your price, I’d expect 4-500 notes is more like it. You’ll earn it, trust me!

It’s specialist work, so should come at a cost that matches the skill and equipment needed.
