Water getting harder?
« on: September 01, 2022, 07:57:07 pm »
Im in Manchester and I swear my PPM is getting higher this last year or so. I used to be able to go 5/6  weeks before changing my DI vessels but now Its like 3/4 weeks.
It reads at about 50 out of the  tap now.
Can anyone give me some basic advice on Reverse Osmosis? My current set up is just 2 large DI vessels but thinking I might  need to introduce RO as well? I actually have no idea how it works

I’m 10 miles down the road from you and my water went from 029ppm to 380ppm literally overnight and has been 300+ for a few years now.

Would love to have water at 050 or below still.

Low rainfall likely to cause higher TDS

Could be water supply is coming from a different source  ,altering the TDS

I've moved from soft water to hard water area.
This is very easy to use.

No storage, on demand, decent flow needs no electric.
