Resin is manufactured from crude oil, so is subject to the global market fluctuations of that.
It also requires energy to manufacture, which now costs more.
And don’t forget, even if it costs exactly the same to manufacture as it did 3 years ago, there’s no way Purolite, Dow, or any other manufacturer is going to squander the opportunity to hike prices and blame Russia.
My advice is simple, pass the cost on. And do it fast because at the moment, if you increase prices, customers are fully expecting it.
