I’m hoping to buy an apartment in fuerteventura and go and retire there , walks by the beach everyday , cycling, walking round the town … can’t wait to retire, only 30 years to do 😁

Take a snorkel. It'll be underwater by then.  :D

When I’m on my death bed I won’t be wishing I’d kept working my whole life. Might wish I’d had a few more women, travelled a bit more and had a life. There’s no way I’ll be thinking “if only I could scrub a few more windows, maybe have a record day!”
Work to live, not Live to work.

Seem to be plenty of younger people that work the system round my way I’m buggered if I’m going to pay for them my whole life.
Whatever floats your boat I guess but when I see the retirees enjoyng life, down the gym, morning swim then a bike ride before coffee then I know what I’d rather be doing.

Do it now then.....I've had more women than you ve had hot dinners most probably so no regrets there.... ;D....I'm a gym regular and I'm off to the Maldives in Oct......
Part time window cleaning round.....

Life is good at present!👌👌
price higher/work harder!

I heard a sports scientist on youtube say that a 70 year old male who lifted weights (properly, as in he knew what he was doing or was shown how to do it properly) could be as strong as your average 30 year old male.

Now no-one wants to be as strong as an average 30 year old male, but when you're 70, that's not a bad thing to be.

You can get strong at any age too; they've put 80 year olds on weight lifting programs and they've all gained strength.

There are also ways to work around dodgy hips and knees too.

Isn’t the average 80 year old, a corpse?

I hope not as I will only have 10 years left on this planet.
