So what would you charge…
« on: August 17, 2022, 10:12:55 am »
Back and sides same amount of windows - except obviously no big doors at the back.

I’ve put a quote in, based on monthly and bi-monthly. I’ve no idea how many quotes they are getting so thought I’d experiment and see what you lot would quote.

Be realistic.

Couple of hours work,

Not asking cos I need help, more because Im Interested in the average charged.

I never go by time, a building like that is all about a good chunk of income for an easy office.

Gonna be interesting to see if I get it. Most of my jobs I’m the only one quoting.

If you mean there are four sides very similar to what you have shown us I would go in at £295.00 quarterly and £225.00 for 8 weekly and allow 4 hours on a quarterly basis and 3 hours on 8 weekly (I think I could do it in three regardless but would be happy to show extra attentiveness if quarterly.) I would also probably try to start before folk got there so that they don't think I am only there for three hours!  ;D
It's a game of three halves!

It wouldn’t matter what time you got there the CCTV that they are bound to have will show them when you turn up and leave.

Should of made it clearer, the sides are shorter, it’s more of a rectangle shape.

Interesting prices, I’ve gone in at £160 monthly, £300 bi-monthly.

2 hours work.

No idea what other quotes they are getting.

£160?

You'll get that if its based on price.

We’ll see, the sides are shorter, so it’s not as many windows as it looks.

I was in two minds, I love jobs like this, regular, easy and reliable. So I didn’t want to be greedy. It would be a shame to miss out on a regular £160 a month. If I went in higher, I reasoned I may not get it. To be honest, for a couple of hours work, I’m more than happy with £160!

Won’t hear back for a week or so as the lady who is dealing with it is now on leave. I’ll post the result when she lets me know.

Around a 90% increase for bi-monthly🤔

Id be around the £150-£200, main thing for me is when you can do it as cars being in the way will be a pain, Id want to do that early morning or of a weekend. I reckon 3 hours tops

£300 If it can be cleaned out of office hours. if they want it done while cars are parked and people are walking in and out, deliveries turning up etc  i would not be bothering.

Love these type of jobs, it’s my favourite type of work by some distance.

£180 and I’d be starting at 6am, 2 and a half hours max.

Of course, they save a small amount of money, for a less freaquant clean. Told the lady that, she said that’s fair enough!

I always do it like that, the longer the frequency, the more they pay, as close to the monthly quote as possible. It helps encourage a monthly clean.

You could look at it as the monthly clean being at a discounted price. If monthly suits you, why not?
