Bee poop on glass, frames and van!
« on: July 05, 2022, 07:39:43 pm »
Ive never seen it as bad as this year!it must of took me an extra 30 mins to clean my work today due to the extra scrubbing required.....

I'll take a few pics tomorrow of the work I'm cleaning this week(estate work that back onto farmers fields)...they are always pretty bad this time of year but nothing as bad as this!literally EVERY WINDOW and frame is covered in bee poo splattered everywhere.thank god I'm using hot water!

On the plus side the bee population must be doing well where I work! ::)roll ;D

Are you sure it’s not fly poo ?? That’s black ,you don’t usually get bee poo in that quantity.

You sure it’s not artillery fungus? Google it, it’s the most common ‘spot’ we get on the glass/frames.

That looks an absolute nightmare. My cold water would barely touch that.

It's a nightmare, we have one street in particular where there's a family that produces and sells honey. It's all over the windows we clean not much fun this time of the year. Pre-spray with degreaser and scrape wish we had hot!

I took on a job like that a couple of years ago. She told me before i started the back of the house was always covered in yellow spots. It looked exactly like that windscreen (the house backed onto a field). I took ages on the first clean to scrub it all off it was a real pain to shift. When i turned up for the second clean it looked exactly the same so i binned it off. Ive never seen another house like it. Unfortunately i think you will be having the same fun next visit  :D

I don’t think that’s bee poo to cover that vehicle like that it would need a swarm of bees , we get a bit of it but nothing as bad as that and it’s generally flies .

Of course it is...there's bees/hornets nest everywhere here this year...lots of fly poop too!

I've never ever seen it so bad...

Hot water does help but I still need to scrub and rinse the glass/frames a few times

Most of our work is semi rural and we arnt seeing any more bees etc than normal ? You vary rarely see a bee on a glass  window , but you will see a lot of flies Ime still convinced it fly poo not bees , but agree it’s a pain to get it all off .
