Which machine?
« on: July 04, 2022, 02:01:14 pm »
I'm currently looking to purchase a carpet cleaning machine to use in our commercial cleaning business. I would be using the machine mainly in offices so it would be used on carpet tiles.
I don't want to spend thousands as it isn't something we would use on a daily basis. I'm currently looking at three machines on eBay
1 - hydromist 35. Little hesitant with this as I feel a wand would be easier getting around the rooms.
2 - CFR echo 500 plus
3 - power flite PFX 1350

All machines are under a thousand but I'm undecided which to go for. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have this for sale but it's over a £1000......can't afford to put it on E Bay.....selling fee is now 12.8% with another 4% for a reserve price, the reserve price is payable whether it sells or not.....so would imagine machines on there are overpriced to offset the fees.

I have Ashby Enforcer 400psi machine with built in heater for sale
......bought in September 2018 but not had much use especially last 2 years.......comes with decent 2 jet wand, 2 jet stair tool 75 foot of vac hose and 90 foot of solution hose plus will throw in some other bits and bobs that I find in garage like hose hook etc.
Ideal especially for a start up and think there's also two used but usable vac motors from my old Ninja that this replaced.
£1800 buyer takes away or will deliver local.
Message me for pictures because this site is not very good for posting them.

Many thanks for your message.
I know what you mean with eBay fees. I have just sold a motorbike on there and all the additional fees add up.
Thanks for the offer but I'll have to pass. I know they are good machines as I used to use them when I worked in the fire and flood industry. It's just a lot more than I can currently afford to spend at the moment, that's why I'm looking at the cheaper end of the scale.
Thanks again and I'm sure you will sell it.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. It's not something I have knowledge about if I'm honest. So I'd be looking for a rotary? I do have a truvox rotary but I imagine a carpet cleaning rotary is different?

What's the charge on e bay Steve......quoted me 12.8%.....that's over £50 in charges for your machine.

What's the eBay link? Only found one 400 but doesn't have a tank.
