Get an electric reel
« on: June 15, 2022, 08:13:22 pm »
Just got my first electric reel...

2 days in  and my shoulder isn't hurting anymore. Wish I'd done this so much sooner.

If you haven't got one seriously think about it. Wish I got one years ago

I still see loads about lifting manual hose reels in and out the van and reeling them in  ;D

😂 you can lead a horse 🐎 to water and all that been saying it for years I had lower back and shoulder pain, went within the month of plugging it in.
They are on par with high Modulus poles as far as making you’re day easier, although saying that the reel probably has the edge.

I had a hire van while mine was in for repair I had to lift stainless steel hose reels out and back in after each job why on earth would anyone sell that way of working,I didn’t start working like that when I started on the pole 16 years ago 2 things you don’t need these days hose reels that weigh 20kilos each and van ports.
It’s all out there to make life easier you can go through the floor if you need security when away from the van, everytime I unplugged I got a nice yard of water all over the van floor from hose to reel.

The best things I've bought to make the work easier.
Electric reel.
Extreme poles and brushes.
Reinforced pole hose on reel.
Swivel goose neck.
Quality work wear.
Cleaner planner.
A cool box.
Good quality sun glasses.
And a new hammock to chill out when the work is done  ;D

Add to that the tubeless setup, change Cleaner planner to Aworka  and lose the hammock and I’m set up the same.

I've had one about 9 months and I didn't realise what a difference it would make. Definitely one of the best things I've bought.

With the time and energy saved using an electric reel - you can clean a couple more houses a day!   It pays for itself in no time

Air conditioning on hot days like tomorrow is bliss and a pop up windscreen blind.

Water works but only because it was the cheaper option. Had I been a bit more flush I may have splashed out on the PF
