Forgive me Trevor for I have sinned!
« on: July 21, 2006, 06:44:35 pm »
I'm sorry it was in a moment of weakness. I registered with another forum discussing WCing issues. I promise I won't do it again.

By the way this is the standard of questions you could expect if you went on there,

Welcome firstly to the forum,

I was just wondering how cleaners can actually see the glass their cleaning when using WFP, I mean, working with a long pole surely there is a restriction on what you are able to see & how clean the glass is getting. Is their a camera on the end for long distances or something?

Sorry, I don't know about this system at all.

Cheers Andy

And that's from the guy running the whole thing :-\ :-\

You are forgiven, but only because of the humour your posting brought to a Professional Forum.

Cameras indeed, don't they no we all have someone on the insodes telling us if we have missed anything.

Nice one !!

Only a year or two or so ago, posts like this were here and it was normally me asking the bone questions.

Forums 'evolve' I guess, but I remember reading my first posts about 'WFP' and 'Reach and Wash' and pure water, di water, reverse osmosis, etc and I didn't have a clue what everyone was going on about.

In fact it wasn't really till I saw Matt's DIY WFP site and saw Ian_Giles's set up that everthing clicked.

Remember; anything you know nothing about is a bit like 'rocket science', but once you learn it, it seems surprisingly simple.

Point taken Tosh, but you would expect a little more knowledge from the person who has taken the time to set the whole site up wouldn't you.

One day a month we have a raffle, some call it the winning ticket but most call it the lossing ticket, if your wfp you can enter only.

You get Squeaky for the day, strap him to the end & he tells you whats occuring.  ;)

personally I don't like the camera on the end of the pole, instead I went for the complex series of mirrors inside the pole and a magnifying glass at the basecap - you just look up the pole while you're working, EEEZZYY MONEY!!

In my defence the only reason I registered was because the server was down for 24 hours & I was missing my fix.

Has anybody else noticed how much quicker the site is now?

Agreed Paul, it's much quicker. Some postings were taking ages to register.

Best wishes,
