Evening chaps,

Just wanted to ask for any recommends for a proper cotton ground sheet for upholstery cleaning.

I still have two of the original Prochem Tarpaulin sheets, the spec being 100% heavy weight drill cotton. (https://prochem.co.uk/product/tarpaulin/) But these are no longer sold by Prochem (I rang their sales team two weeks ago), not available anywhere else either. A real shame as they  absorb moisture brilliantly and are really strong - had mine for over 17 years!

Any ideas of something similar please would be great.

Won't cotton sheets let water through......I've always used heavy duty plastic sheets.

We place a thick plastic sheet under the cotton sheet. But the cotton sheet holds the water
