Quick question for someone who owns one

Are the inner sections all the same length? Like the SLX 18,27, 39 etc

Asking for the sake of converting to tubeless, I'd call them but its the weekend and want to get an order in

Thanks!

Gardiners wouldn't answer even if you called.  ;D

Yes all of the nested sections are the same length. The handle section is about 20mm longer than the rest.

Many thanks Alex, and for the record I've always had a good experience when calling up.

If the handle section is longer, tubeless will not work - is this the case with the SLX 47?

Thanks

The SLX47 handle section is about level with the other inner sections - however the SLX47 is not as good a pole as the SMAX50. It is fine if you absolutely need a compact high level pole, but it is not as rigid as the SMAX50 poles.

Yes it will work as you need 50-60 mm for  the ejected sleeve to go in to reach the first section , all our poles are Gardiner’s and I have converted the lot without hose tails sticking out of the end of the poles

Apologies I thought Alex said 200mm! Should be fine then!
