I have had my 3d reel now for 3 weeks, it's blown 3 ,40 amp fuses and now when I try to put a new fuse in it starts to wind in on its own with out pressing the buttons, has anyone got a clue what may be the problem

Cheap,plastic reel.....how much was it?£400?what a joke... ::)roll

You're talking rubbish about something you've never owned or used Dazmond.

Well that’s your opinion. I’ve owned one for 18 months. I love the strong plastic & stainless steel as apposed to steel & it will never rust.

My only slight gripe is i fear the red switch will eventually wear out due to having no speed control.

But by owning one myself I feel i’m in a much better position to pass opinion than you. I plan to buy another one for my employee later this year.

We have had 6 of them since they were released , apart from the centre spindles that were plastic distorting and collapsing and the red plastic controller they have been fine no issues , waterworks have changed the centre spindle design to aluminium and no problems at all since ours get a very hard life  and I also have pure freedom twin stack stainless steel reels in my own van and have had far more problems with them than the cheap and nasty waterworks reels , they are a good reel .

8 reels here and they’ve been fab.

We’ve had two that the belts snapped on, rang for a replacement belt and they sent a new reel out and collected the old one.

PF one does look good and it wasn’t about the money for me, it was the fact they’re plastic and stainless.

They weigh less than most reels which is why I wanted them.

I bought two of these the deciding factor for me was the small footprint as I have these positioned side by side in the back of my pickup.
Early on a belt did snap I called them and they replaced both reels the next day and collected the first ones a few days later since then I've used them both every weekday for over a year without issue.

I've no idea. I've never changed one. I would think so though. Surely just like changing & adjusting a fan belt?

Do you have to take the front plate off to replace or adjust the belt.

I bought a couple of resettable fuses, they work perfectly:

RKURCK 12V-28V DC Manual Reset Low Profile ATC Circuit Breaker Resettable Blade Fuse 30A https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07K7FWC1B/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_VS90QR9SCK0T0E630DJM

30 amp (not 40) but doesn’t make any difference in my experience.

You can’t put the lid on the little fuse holder when you use these, but that’s the only annoyance.
Pete are these the big fuse s

The original ones had plastic centre spindles there would crush and collapse with hot water , now the centres are aluminium and no issues

Well I'm very disappointed with Window cleaning warehouse, phoned Monday morning explained about reel, they said they would get in touch with water works no one called back, so I called again Tuesday still no one called back and again today no phone back, so I phoned water works up myself and they are sending a new one out ,I should have just gone straight to water works and bought it in first place
