Gotta be honest, I think the waterworks reels are a bit pants. That’s coming from someone who has one

That’s coming from someone who has one Any particular reason why you think that?I’ve had a few problems with mine, and if there are any threads on electric hose reel issues, it’s always the waterworks ones. I like them, but they defo have there issues.
I reeled out all the hose and it looks like if I can get a large spanner 🔧 on the left where the spindle starts it may stop it spinning and will allow me to loosen the outer nut, honestly though it’s been a great reel I’ve had no other issues with it I would just like the easiest way to change this part if I could get hold of Jordon I’m sure it’s simple. Very difficult to get hold of anyone at Waterworks these days.
Sorted it now and it couldn’t have been easier you have to wind out all hose and inside the reel there’s a small Alan key 🔑 nut that you have to do up to stop the spindle spinning, lovely stuff not one spot of water dripping now 👍. Thanks for help though.
