It’s not a standard size I think it’s 3.5 I know I got some for putting them in to another brush once,I’ll have a look in the garage I think I’ve got 2 still in it’s pack.

I  seem to think it's 4.7mm.  The drill bits I have go up in 0.5mm sizes so it was the size smaller and then reamed a bit with the same drill bit.
Success is 1% inspiration, 98% perspiration and 2% attention to detail!

The older I get, the better I was ;)

I worked it out at 4.5 I didn't have a 4.5 drill so I  drilled  5 mm about third the way and 4 mm for the rest and hammered them in!
