Dunno. Have to see. Im dubious to be honest, but there's nothing can be done about it is there. Might have a wait over in Heathrow....

Flight is 17:00 so past the worse but that probably means nothing.
I'm sending them out, but will be watching closely. Just checked with Cliff (if you know him) and he's working tomorrow. If he cries off he's gonna let me know.  £3k loss if we don't work.  :'(

🤣🤣 if anyone turned up at my house or place of work and it was up to me to employ the window cleaning side of things they’d be sacked for extraction the urine,I would be insulted.
You’reregularly insulted but you still come back.  ;D

Tomorrow is definitely looking like a complete right off down south.
Kinda feel sorry for all the customers that we've cleaned in the last few days as there windows will probably look horrendous again by lunchtime tomorrow.

Quite looking forward to an enforced day off of doing absolutely nowt.

I said that for storm Arwen - 5 days without power, mobile phone signal or water at the beginning of December.

Was a bit more concerned about storm Corrie in January but we were only cut off for 4 days.

Good luck.

Where abouts are you situated  Soupy?, that doesn't sound any fun at all.

We’ll see what the weather actually brings. This morning the forecast was up to 40mph winds but that’sgone up to 60 this evening. They’ll go out and work if safe. If not, they won’t. But calling it for 8 vans isn’t done unless necessary and that won’tbe known until tomorrow. But thanks for your advice.

This is the real reason why we should all work in the rain and terrible weather conditions,I don’t honestly know 1 person that would want you cleaning their windows in heavy rain or wind and snow like we will get tomorrow.
I think people need to be a bit more honest with their views on cleaning windows in the above conditions because in my opinion it’s because they need to pay wages, forget the rain guarantee and they remain clean even after heavy rain rubbish that’s a sales pitch nothing more I’ve been cleaning windows long enough to know when i am  taking the wee wee with the weather.

Any Directors of window cleaners that let their employees work in those conditions, are leaving themselves wide open to fines and possibly a jail term !

Would it be worth it ?  ::)roll ::)roll ::)roll

That’s life. I paid £80 to have my Motorhome cleaned two weeks ago. Went away and it was filthy before I arrived at my destination. Wife paid £50 for a car valet. Drove along a farm track to pick up a Turkey that afternoon and it was covered in mud. We paid them to clean them.

Like most, we offer a guarantee. If they don’t fry clean we’ll come back.

The storm is a safety issue though, so that won’t be governed by second guessing what the customer thinks.

Yeah I take it you took you’re vehicle to be cleaned or did they turn up at your house and clean it.

Should have told the turkey to get a taxi 👍
We look at them, they look through them.
