Your old red van was being driven around Bristol by a courier last year SAJ. Could still see your sign writing underneath it

Finished today at 1:30…..it was a bit of a struggle to be honest, got my booster jag on Sunday evening and have been a bit under the weather the last two days……..start back on Wednesday 5th.
Merry Xmas and best wishes for 2022 to everyone 👍
Now I know why I was a bit under the weather, it wasn’t the booster jag at all, I’ve  just recorded a  positive test  on a lateral flow, going for PCR test at 2:00………..Bah humbug!

I’ll never be as lucky as you. I’ll end up testing positive the day before I’m due to start back in January, I bet ya.

Enjoy the down time if you can.

Last day for me today. All finished till January the 5th.

Enjoy the break folks. All the best.

I’ll be the same!

My youngest son (he’s 7) currently has covid and I’ve been trying to catch it so I can have next week off! Just tested and negative again  :'( :'(

Do you have compulsory holiday on Christmas Eve? We have stutdown between Christmas & New Year. I assume that like me, it's the only genuine downtime of the year. Even if I'm on holiday I'm still "responsible" for everything, but at Christmas we're shut. I love it.

Something very magic about being a wc and Christmas, it comes at the worse time of year, dark and miserable, it takes a real effort to try and get everything done and then you get that wonderful feeling that you've got there, cleaning done, van washed, pole stripped and cleaned, bookwork done and absolutely nothing to do now till the New Year. Just working my way through a bottle of red with a real glow inside. Merry Christmas everyone, enjoy the rest, you've earnt it.

Paid day off today (not using up holidays). For over 20 years we've tried to get everything done by Christmas Eve and be off until after new year, which this year is the 5th (there's two bank holidays in Scotland 3rd and 4th) This is the first time we've actually managed it, and with a day to spare.

Lads are off now until 3rd January.  £325 in Xmas Tips to share between them, plus a Xmas Bonus.

Considering its December it's been a pretty good work month overall.

Im not personally back in work myself until January 15th or maybe later, probably later, definitely later.

Basically whenever i can be arsed to do Lead Generation / Canvassing for window cleaners again.

I've had a few ask me to start 1st week Jan, told them get stuffed!!!  Might start middle to end of Jan see how i feel  ;D ;D ;D
