I've not even had any symptoms and tested negative again today so me and the missus are off out today,a bit of shopping, coffee shop and maybe cinema.... 8)

So much for a deadly virus for me....not even a sniffle... :D

Have a great day chaps

Atleast you won’t be out spreading the virus around after your 3 days in isolation Daz.  :o

Today is day 7(tested positive last wed)...

Yesterday and today 2 negative tests so I'm free to go out according  to the new rules!🙂👍
Yous have it too easy😜 we are still 10 days, I’m on my sixth day now. Daughter just tested positive last night😢

No need for you to isolate for 10 days mate if you test negative on a lateral flow on day 6 and 7....your a free man... ;D

Not in Scotland you’re not, it’s 10 days isolation.

Stepdaughter is still testing positive  8 days on..plus she's totally lost her sense of taste and smell...

I think she  hates the fact me and her mum could go out shopping today... ;D
And yet more gloating. I don't know who to feel more sorry for.....

People forget the survival rate is over 99% Daz.

Wife works for local nhs hospital, it really is not that bad. Yes it can be, but it’s almost always mild.

Media have really helped whip up the fear.

Everyone is so hypersensitied to death and illness because of covid, when the reality is, bad flu years claim 30-40k deaths.  Wife remembers winters where the corridors were lined with flu patients, ambulances queuing. Chaos in the hospital. Every year it’s bad. It’s just never talked about.

Don’t get me started on the inflated fugures as well.

We have to live with it.

Even an over 70 has a survival rate of 97.6%.

Media make people believe it’s the Black Death.

In the wrong body, it’s lethal. So is flu. Etc etc.

How old you again Daz? 40 something? 99.918% survival.

I'm 50 now and I've had 3 jabs of the pfizer vaccine mate...maybe that's helped?

Even without the jab mate, your statistics are the same bar about .004%  ;D

Hope Darran is doing ok (the other one) seem to recall he had a positive test a week or so ago

Who me?

Yes I'm all good - according to the hospital I had the latest version - as I am "vulnerable" they do more tests to see the variant.

Wife also had it - worse than me mainly I think because  a. She missed her booster and b. Likes the attention  of being poorly 😂

3 days of sore throat and mild flu like ache - had a lateral flow yesterday and that was negative  all my hospital visits have been in isolation with the nurses in full ppe 😷

Thanks for asking

Darran
Never argue with an idiot, they will only bring you down to their level, and beat you with experience

A couple of days ago she was on the verge of binning you if you went to Tenerife  ;D ;D

Glad you’ve all got over the virus though Daz, hope you all have a happy new year.
