I tested positive on Wednesday.absolutely no symptoms whatsoever so couldn't go to Tenerife.... luckily my missus and her daughter and boyfriend have also got it so we still had a great Xmas day...

I sometimes can't believe what I'm reading with some of you posts dazmond. Talk about selfish.

What are you talking about?my missus and her daughter tested positive a few days before me so we could all spend Xmas together which was great(rather than self isolating on my own over Xmas)

What's selfish about that?

If you have tested positive  you shouldn’t be traveling about you said you hadn’t seen them for  7 days then tested positive so you have obviously been out and about then go to see them for Christmas , !!!!!!!!

What's selfish about that? "Luckily my misses and her daughter and boyfriend have also got it." You want other people to be possibly very ill so you can spend Xmas with them.

Sumat else you are.

I guess the answer to the OP’s question in that case is Daz, Daz’s missus, her kids and the dog….

I’m going out later today. Pictures, then a meal . Hopefully me or  the missus will catch it . Pass it on to our kids . With a bit of luck pass it on to my 80 year old mum . She had her booster in September, so she has absolutely zero protection at the moment . But I’m sure she will be fine .

Atleast you won’t be out spreading the virus around after your 3 days in isolation Daz.  :o

People forget the survival rate is over 99% Daz.

Wife works for local nhs hospital, it really is not that bad. Yes it can be, but it’s almost always mild.

Media have really helped whip up the fear.

Everyone is so hypersensitied to death and illness because of covid, when the reality is, bad flu years claim 30-40k deaths.  Wife remembers winters where the corridors were lined with flu patients, ambulances queuing. Chaos in the hospital. Every year it’s bad. It’s just never talked about.

Don’t get me started on the inflated fugures as well.

We have to live with it.

Even an over 70 has a survival rate of 97.6%.

Media make people believe it’s the Black Death.

In the wrong body, it’s lethal. So is flu. Etc etc.

How old you again Daz? 40 something? 99.918% survival.

Feel sorry for anyone who's had it, it can be nasty, not to be underestimated, even young people have died.
As for me not been right for months, ever since the vaccines and that last one, the booster Moderna has really k*****d me up and a lot of people I know.
Falling asleep all the time, exhausted and aching everywhere, joints swollen, working has been agony.
Not having another one.
Don't care about any Covid passport it has to end somewhere, they are already talking about a 4th jab!
