Doing some trad cleaning today about 2 oclock it was the hottest part of the day,and it was drying to quick after sqeezeeying it of the small amounts Ihad missed
left marks [water marks] any ideas lads or lasses.

i know how much water you use on each window, simple answer is use plenty of water while the hot weather is on.

I have also noticed wfp drying very quick in this heat

I use pure water with squeezy off,and Brett knows I dont soak the windows in fact Ithink it amazes Brett how little I use,but have been using the Brett method of trad w/c soak the windows frames and sills and use a dry scim per window to detail 
Ive been using more pure water on the windows,its just after youve bladed off it drys to quick or is it Im to slow? Mind you Ihave had a coffee break so maybe need retraining

I'm still traditional and had no problems, loads of water and speed up, all this wfp has made you soft gaza

The only true answer for this is for all of us to start very early : when its cooler and when it heats up at lunch time  :all go to the pub

We had big problems of the water drying on the glass today for some commercial work where the windows were in the sun.

I did the windows inside of one place and no matter how wet the mop, it was dry in under 10 seconds.

One place we do is hundreds of 6 inch square paines on a large flat roof ( and it cannot be done with wfp) and I was hopping from foot to foot because the roofing felt was so hot. Mix that with a white wall reflecting the sun and it was hell.

At 2.30pm we just gave up. I cannot remember us stopping work before because of the heat.

Also, I have never ever drunk 6 ltrs of water in a day before and I can never remember getting my face sunburnt. I'm also knackered.

Trouble is with starting very early is for us at least, we are dependant on getting access for some jobs and for a number, it's important that the various managers or who ever see the work being done. Mix that with the logistics of getting around to all the work.......

Jeff go with someone whos experienced first is the best piece of advice Ican give you
dont go on the salesman advice only hes only looking for a sale.
The lads on the street know more than the salesman most of the time,Iwould be only to pleased to have you along for the day but Ithink you live to far away Somerset Im in Nottm.
When Ibought mine there wasnt a forum available,so Ihad to make every mistake possible first,Iblame the supplier for there lack of care £4.500p and no after care
If I were in there position I would make after sales paramount and a legal requirement.

I spent a couple of hours with a guy local to me a couple of weeks back, and he said the same as you about suppliers, they sold him the most expensive system they could, because he had not got a clue.
One thing about a forum gaz is I have picked up so many tips, and this means i am learning from other peoples mistakes.
It looks like its going to be another couple of months until the change over but i am looking forward to it.

There seems more of a brotherhood amoungst wfp than trad cleaners which can only be good for the trade.Met some grumpy old men trad w/c in my days but never a wfp person.
