I'm still having problems with spots on certain customers windows i clean frames everytime as part of price.
I know this is a cause do any of you who clean frames all the time have this prob and would a fan jet help

what are you using now for spraying from the brush, i assume pencil spray.
 if so i find fan spray jets are best

I have ordered a couple of those fan jets to try them out on my mini pole.
I noticed they do two sorts
Fine (low pressure)
Normal (high pressure)

I have ordered the fine as i use 60psi pumps i just hope its the right one

Cheers, at last they have a site, might just order the square brush with fan jets as i'm fed up getting red marks all over the frames.

Steve have a look at matts site it gives you step by step instructions on how to build your brush, including drill bit sizes

just cut the red edging off with a stanly blade. once you cut through it it'll just peel off, and no more red marks

i use these fine jets with the backpack they are great , if you put the backpack on setting1 they spray out like pencil jets and if you turn them up they spray out like fans ( best of both worlds )

use an 8.5mm bit/9mm bit and just push the nozzle through backwartds with the hose already on it, it'll make a nice tight fit.

if you are using a trailer or van system use the standard sie fan spray jets, they allow more water on the glass, the fine are great for backpacks etc when water reserve is limited

I'm new to WFPing & I occasionally get those red marks off  my Vikan brush. Is that rubber not there for a reason. Will you not expose the body of the brush to wear if you just cut it off.

these brushes were made for car cleaning if i am right the rubber is to protect from damaging car but i have taken mine of it only takes seconds and it is now the same as my other proper wfp brushes .

I have also taken mine off one of my 10" brushes also.
Just prised mine off with a screwdriver whilst getting the hump with the red marks whilst working.

A lot better now just clonks a bit if you hit the wall with the edge of the brush.

But now the same as my 16" brush
