Really striking and vivid, the only thing that I would say is to drop the word services a tad lower so that it does'nt blend into guys legs.

Other than that looks totally professional in my view (for what it's worth).

Great Job.

Dave.

I like the concept and colours.

Simple and striking

I personally dont like using the word services.  I would just have window cleaning in large font at the bottom where the word services is now.

I would also have the guy leaning forward rather than back. A bit like a certain other WFP suppliers logo.  It would look more dynamic.

mmmmm rather good, wonder what it would look like in a different type face? not so sure i like the shadow behind text. does sunshine offer other cleaning aspects ie pressure washing. if not i would also suggest dropping services from logo. i am no pro but yes i do like.

I think it's really good apart from the blokes legs being attached to the writing.

whatever you use, cervices or w/cing, drop lower or put a black outline round the top of the lettering

Hello,

I used to be a manager of a Sign Shop and i used to design and produce logos like this all of the time for customers via CAD so here's my penny's worth...

The logo background image is fine but i think that you should rethink the font and the dropshadow.

The word 'Sunshine' is ok but the words ' Window Cleaning' are too illegible considering the importance of them.

If i were you i would pick a modern, simple font for these words, something nice and easy like Arial or frutiger.

Also, having a black dropshadow on a dark letter isn't really the best way to go, it also takes away from the impact of the lettering - i would advise to either drop the shadow or lighten the blue lettering - lightening it will actually make it stand out more.

Also, i would keep the word 'Services' - it actually states that it is a service that you are offering and in the brief glaces that this logo will get, this is an important factor i think.

Definately drop it down though, and change the font.

I haven't got time to go over any more at the mo, i've gotta run and take my lad to nursery.

If you like, drop me a mail and i'll see if i can get photoshop cs2 out and i will have a bash around with it for you.

The colours look great as long as it will be on a white van. Let us know what colour your van is and also your T-shirts.
I agree with taking services out as well - Its not needed and just clutters up the picture.

Hi All,

Thanks for all of your input and ideas.

Jouk i was going to mention about the word 'services' being dropped as i have only ever called myself 'Sunshine Window Cleaning' from the beginning. I have no ambitions of moving into the general cleaning game for the time being, so 'Sunshine Window Cleaning' it is then.

I think the 'Window Cleaning' would look best where 'Services' is at the moment. But like some have said already, a little lower than the silhouette so it doesn't blend into one.

Any chance of doing the lighter wording with and without the shadow to see what it looks like. Also would it be possible to change the font as i'm not too keen on the V and A the way they are. Just something bold and simple. Like my brother.  :o

Haven't got a van sorted yet so will probably go with a white one. Though i quite like some of the bogey green van's that i've seen around lately. I reckon with a brighter blue and that striking yellow sun it should have people throwing up all over the place.  ;D ;D ;D

Hi Joe,

Really pleased with the colour of the blue writing now.

I think i actually prefer the logo without the w/cer in it. I also prefer the font in the 2nd design.

Not too sure how this design is going to transfer to headed paper though. Any chance of your lad splitting the design for paper so it reads 'Sunshine Window Cleaning' and then the graphics at the side of the writing.

I will send you an email with my phone number so we can arrange payment for all his hard work.

Regards,
Sunshine

Now thats getting much better!

But imho the size of lettering has to be more in keeping with each other ie the ''  unshine - indow - leaning '  should be a little larger with a bigger gap between the letters - at present they touch, and considering this will be viewed large on a van is Ok, but when you get to letterheads, clothing logos, etc etc the wording is going to look a bit compact and cramped, try reducing this design on screen and you will see what I mean. The typeface looks modern as well.

Had to laugh at jouks little gaff earlier  .  .  .  .  ''  at the end of the pole its lance who will   .  .  .  ''
