Squeegee Plan Advice
« on: October 29, 2021, 08:31:21 pm »
Good evening gents,

Im finally getting rid of books and going online, from what i have read Squeegee is the best planner to use, however im  not sure which plan to go with, the core or advanced.
Can anyone help me decide.
Im a sole trader.

Do you need the extra features of the advanced plan?
I use it and find it good although some bits are a bit clunky. Their support is great, I had a question about me having a couple of weeks off at Christmas and wanting to move all the jobs by a couple of weeks. Within 3 mins I had an answer of how to do it myself (very easy just a few clicks) or I could ask them and they would do it nearer the time!
I don't pay for their texts, as I have them included on my sim, so you can just copy the invoice link and text that to customers if you want but I just use the email feature. I also connected GoCardless and Stripe and that all connects perfectly and marks invoices as paid if they use either method, both methods do cost you if your customers use them!
I like that you can customise the emails, invoices etc.
I believe you can always upgrade to the more expensive plan if you want.

I have the advanced plan with two way SMS and call divert, I personally believe that by next year squeegee will be better than cleaner planner in every way.

the only thing I miss from CP is scheduled SMS and worksheets.

Im using Aworka at present and just signed up for a trial on Squeegee, I know it will take a little while to get used too, I've been tinkering for a couple of hours but it doesn't seem as slick a Aworka, However, it does have more options  like the Bank reconciliation and other payment integrations which would be the reason for changing

Its seems there are more pages to click through where Aworka seems quicker to use, is this right or am I missing something?

Re Commercial clients, on Aworka we have the commercial client as the customer and can add multiple sites assigned to the one client

Anyone else transferred from Aworka to Squeegee who has commercial clients as well as domestic, how are you getting on with it?

I’d have thought Squeegee was a backward step from Aworka? I’m on Aworka with 8 users and planning can be complicated. I looked a couple of months ago at Cleaner Planner for the second time but of the 4 or 5 things I saw as shortcomings in Aworka and wanted to see in CP, CP had none of them.

8 Weekly, sounds like you've gone the employment route?

I like Aworka's layout but looking to keep up with the times, Bank reconciliation is a big one for the way we operate, also auto Payment links and syncing with the planner would save us loads of admin time... I see Gocardless are offering Open banking but  not on Aworka as yet

Also liking the attachment feature on Squeegee, you can attach an image to a job so if you move jobs to different rounds the operator can view the image...brilliant basic feature!

If  Chris added these features I wouldn't be looking to change as happy with Aworka
