Hi, i own an exterior cleaning business which specialises in pressure washing. Naturally pressure washing in quite seasonal and as we're heading toward winter ive seen a huge drop in the workload which if im honest has me bricking myself. This is my first year running my business so im yet to experience the dreaded winter months. Does anyone have any advice on how to survive the winter, i am trying to push other services eg gutter clearing etc but i can't seem to get enough work to match the money I was earning from pressure washing.

window cleaning is all year round regular work. once you have a client base, you can upsell the other services.
the customer will already know and trust you.
it will also save you time traveling  to quote as you will already be at the property every month or two

As above, have a base of window cleaning work. Even if its just 2 days a week and doesnt pay as good as pressure washing (although it should) it will give you somethign to fall back on.

windows are no where near the pay rate of pressure washing - even the cream window licking would not match the lowest/worst paid p/w Jobbie

The great thing of window work its repeat, repeat, repeat - a great base to launch other services
